Faith on Fire

2021-22 Faith Formation at St. Max

Welcome to Faith on Fire, formation for youth in early childhood through high school.  We are very excited to begin a new season of formation with our parish families!  BEFORE registering please:

  1.  Watch the Faith on Fire promotion video below that describes all your options for the 2021-2022 year.
  2. Print out the Faith on Fire Formation Chart to the right.  The video will explain the chart in greater detail.  BOTH resources will be very helpful when you are going through the registration process.

Whether you are new to formation or you have been with us for a while, come on the journey with us this year!  Intensify your fire for Jesus, be formed in the in the teachings of the Church and learn how the spiritual journey can bring your family closer to God. 

Note: Fuel with Pflaum Sundays (in our blended learning option) is FULL, but there is plenty of room on Mondays.

Early Bird Fee (through 8/1/21) $70/child. Family Max $220
Regular Fee: $95/child. Family Max $295.

We continue to waive fees for grades 7&8

All adults who work with children need to have a background check and complete the SafeParish Child Protection Program.

SafeParish Information

Blended learning:  Homestudy lessons and monthly in-person meetings (In-person meetings are for parents and children)

Choose Spark if:

  • Your eldest child is in first grade and has not already participated in Spark.
  • You are a new family to Faith on Fire and your children are missing catechesis.

Home Study OR Blended Learning Options (Blended learning includes monthly in-person meetings for parents and children)

Choose Fuel with Pflaum if:

  • Your children are in preschool/kindergarten (Enrichment for this age group, not required for sacraments.)  
  • You have children in grades 1-8 who have been regularly participating in the classroom/home study program at St. Max or another Catholic parish (ongoing religious formation is required for sacrament celebration.)
