Faith on Fire (Faith Formation 2020-21)

2020-21 Faith Formation at St. Max

The last few months have taught us that life is certainly an adventure!  As Christians we believe that we are on this crazy adventure with God by our side!  He brings us peace and abundant blessings, but He also guides us into new and unfamiliar territory.  This year God will be guiding us into a new adventure in faith formation due to the challenges and restrictions of COVID-19.  We will not be offering weekly in-person classes for RFY grade 1-8 or Early Childhood this academic year.  Catechesis will be mostly family-based in the home with an in-person option for middle schoolers and high schoolers.  This will be unfamiliar territory, but we are excited about the opportunities that this will bring to your family.

Every adventurer knows that fire is essential in order to survive.  Our theme for faith formation in 2020-2021 is built around this image of fire and our goal to radiate Christ in the world!   Introducing Faith on Fire as your faith formation program for 2020-2021!  Imagine an adventure where you will become equipped to build the most radiant fire ever!

Why did we make the decision to not offer weekly in-person classes this year?  Read a letter from Mary Lou Baker, Coordinator of Religious Formation of Youth here.
