Lunch for the Homeless

Interested in performing a Corporal Work of Mercy?  St. Francis Seraph Ministries and the St. Francis – St. Joseph Catholic Worker Home are 2 shelters in Over-the-Rhine who provide bag lunches for up to 600 homeless individuals. They also feed day laborers who make as little as $35.00 for a 10 - hour day.  The lunches are assembled every 2 weeks at St. Max and at other cooperative parishes and immediately delivered to the 2 locations we serve in Cincinnati.  Our bag lunch ministry here at St. Max is called “Lunch for the Homeless”.

Volunteer on Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:00AM to assemble 200 bag lunches in our St. Max Kitchen.

Can't volunteer? Please consider donating to Lunch for the Homeless below.  These funds allow us to buy meat, cheese and bread for sandwiches as well as snacks and cookies.
