About the St. Joseph Bootcamp
September 12, 2026 - June 12, 2027
Come join the men of St. Maximilian Kolbe as we embark on a 9-month journey of growing in holiness together through the St. Joseph Society Bootcamp.
The St. Joseph Boot Camp:
Shows men concrete ways to practice their faith, form good habits, and live a disciplined life of prayer
Develops friendship and fraternity among Catholic men seeking the same goal.
Builds up men as leaders of their parish and family.
Establishes a spiritual legacy that will last generations.
The meetings will take place in our normal Men's breakfast format. We will meet monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 7:00 AM in the community room. If the group exceeds the capacity of the community room, we will move the meeting to the gym.
Our meeting will begin with breakfast, move into teaching segment followed by discussion amongst the men, and will end with a challenge to work on each month. With each month building upon each other. There will also be 4 accompanying mini-lectures via YouTube videos (10-15 minutes per video) that each man will be encouraged to watch between each session. This will equate to one 10-15 minute YouTube video per week, for each week between monthly session. Think of these as assigned readings between classes.
A man who perseveres throughout the 9 months will find that he has developed a much deeper relationship with Christ and has developed a delightful and robust life of daily prayer. Unless he has already had a substantial formation in his faith, he will also find that he is much more knowledgeable about his faith and is able to explain it and defend it to other people. Finally, and most importantly, his deepened knowledge of his faith and relationship with Christ will give him a greater confidence in his ability to be the spiritual and moral leader of his family and/or the broader faith community of St. Max.
Come join us on this great journey as we boldly storm the frontiers of heaven and take as many people with us in the process.
