Men in Tents

Men 21+ are invited to join us for an outdoor camping* event from Friday, October 16 until Sunday, October 18 at Camp River Ridge in Oldenburg, Indiana.

Throughout the weekend, there will be bonfires, BB guns, cannon firing, cigars, and beer, along with physical, spiritual, and fellowship activities. Mass is offered on Saturday and Sunday. Eucharistic Adoration, and an opportunity for Reconciliation is also provided. 

All meals are provided.

*NOTE: While most attendees of Men In Tents opt to sleep in a tent, Camp River Ridge hosts three covered, screened-in cabins with bunk beds with air mattresses, which you are welcome to use. Tent camping is not obligatory.

  • I find Men In Tents to be a refreshing and enriching weekend, filled with time spent in adoration, reflection, and fellowship. I always leave the weekend with a stronger faith and deeper connections with other men who are striving to be their best.

  • I needed to disconnect from my norm and connect with like-minded individuals through fellowship, ministry, and service. That's what the weekend was all about - doing something a little outside your comfort zone, helping the community, meeting new people, and developing friendships all rooted in Jesus Christ.

  • “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” This is definitely true of the Men In Tents event. This is a low-key men’s retreat with great facilities, awesome food, interesting activities, and good fellowship.
