Pilgrimage to Japan

with Fr. Jim Riehle & Dcn. Mike Lippman

November 8-19, 2027

Join Fr. Jim Riehle & Deacon Mike Lippman on a 12-Day “St. Maximilian Kolbe” pilgrimage to Japan! Discover the courageous faith and rich Catholic heritage of Japan on this twelve-day pilgrimage from Nagasaki to Tokyo. Walk in the footsteps of St. Maximilian Kolbe, honor the Twenty-Six Martyrs of Japan, and encounter the moving story of the hidden Christians who preserved their faith through generations of persecution.

In Nagasaki and Hiroshima, we will reflect upon witnesses of forgiveness and hope while offering prayers for lasting peace. Experience the historic beauty of Kyoto and its Marian devotion before traveling to Our Lady of Akita for a special day of prayer, the rosary, and quiet reflection with the Blessed Mother. Our journey concludes in Tokyo with visits to St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs. With daily Mass, fellowship, and opportunities to enjoy Japan’s distinctive culture and cuisine, this pilgrimage invites us to grow closer to Christ through the faithful witness of His Church in Japan.
