Replacement Fund
As we look ahead to the future, we are reminded that our parish, its buildings, its ministries, its worship, its community—belongs to all of us. Just as we maintain our own homes to keep them safe, comfortable and welcoming, we are called to care for our spiritual home with the same sense of responsibility and pride.
This is our church, entrusted to us, and it is our duty to preserve it for the generations who will follow.
With that in mind, we are beginning a multi-year funding campaign to replace our 22 rooftop HVAC units. These systems are essential to keeping our worship spaces, classrooms, and gathering areas comfortable throughout the year. The age of these units is anywhere from 2 to 22 years old. Each replacement costs between $50,000 and $75,000,
depending on the size. We currently have ten units that are on the older end of that range and responsible stewardship requires that we begin planning and funding their replacement now, rather than waiting for emergency failures.
This long-term campaign will officially begin on July 1. Because this is a multi-year effort, every contribution—large or small—helps us move steadily toward our goal.
