We walk with teens through support, prayer, presence, and joyful fellowship. Some of us support behind the scenes, others serve through hospitality or intercession, and others accompany teens directly at youth nights and retreats. Together, we help create a community where Christ is encountered and friendship grows.

We are companions, listeners, encouragers, and spiritual big brothers & sisters for the youth of St. Max — helping them know they are loved by God, welcomed into community, and called to sainthood.

Where do you see yourself?

What F.I.R.E. Squad means…

There is a range of ways to be a part of the F.I.R.E. Squad

Support → Pray → Reflect Christ → Bring teens to Encounter Jesus

We do this through the following groups:

  • Support
Offering the practical help — food, hospitality, invitations, and resources — that supports our ministry and builds our youth community.

  • Pray
Covering our teens, families, and ministry in prayer so God can do what only He can do.

  • Reflect Christ
Being a joyful, Christ-like presence who welcomes, supports, and walks with teens in community.

  • Helping Teens Encounter Jesus
Helping young people meet Jesus through consistent presence, prayer, Scripture, and authentic relationship.
