Lectio for Kids Suggestions

• Try to do this as a family
• Start small with children, begin with 5 minutes and work your way up.

For children it is often best to use well-known parables or stories about Jesus

• For younger children it can often be best to use a good picture Bible or Bible based storybook along with the scripture
• Have children draw out images from the scripture that stand out to them
• Have children imagine themselves in the story and what they experience with their senses (sounds, sights, smells, tastes, touch)
