Young At Heart

Young At Heart is a social organization for all 50 year old and older members of St. Maximilian Kolbe for companionship, social enjoyment, and interaction with each other. We meet the second Wednesday of the month in the Conference Room located off the Gathering Space. Social outings are typically held the 3rd Saturday of the month.

We would love to have more eligible parishioners join us in our activities so we are planning some special small group receptions to begin 2007. If you, or someone you know, would like to be invited for an opportunity to see what we're all about, please send your name to President, Jane Irwin and receive a personal invitation.

Autumn Pot Luck in GYM at 6 PM. $5 per person (non-refundable) payable to Treasurer 1 week prior, plus bring at least two canned goods to donate to Reach Out Lakota for Thanksgiving Baskets. We have entertainment planned that will be wonderful. Mike Pendell will be replacing Katelyn Mattson. Mike will be bringing his keyboard to entertain.

Sunday matinee , 2 p.m. “Late Nite Catechism” play at Aronoff Center. Make reservations and send checks to Treasurer George Gallaway by Sept. 23. $40 each. Questions? Call Janet Engel.

Young At Heart “Dress in Red” at the 4:30 Mass. Dinner out after at the El Rancho – Grande Rest. on Union Center Blvd. & 747, followed by a play at Lakota West “As You Like It” @ 8:00 PM.– Free with Senior Passes. Give passes to Dorothy Steen by October 19th. Tell her if you will join us for dinner by November 12th.
