A special jubilee year dedicated to St. Paul will run from June 28, 2008, to
June 29, 2009, to mark the approximately 2,000th anniversary of the saint’s
birth. Our “Year of St. Paul” webpage will offer information of activities and
celebrations planned in honor of the Pauline year, as well as reading materials.
Personality of St. Paul: Celebrate the Year of St. Paul with a special
lecture at Sacred Heart Church (Fairfield) on The Personality of St. Paul, Mon.,
Sept. 15, 7-8:15 p.m. given by Fr. Timothy Schehr, Scripture scholar from the
Atheneaum of Ohio. Free and open to the public. Register: 858-4213.
St. Paul Bible Study: Learn more about St. Paul, Defender of the Faith in this
free 2-week video Bible Study with Steve Ray on Mondays, September 22 & 29, at
Sacred Heart Church (Fairfield), 7-8:15 p.m. in the undercroft. All welcome.
