This Decree seeks to protect, enhance and, in some cases,
restore the trust that our faith calls for between agents of the Church and the children and
adolescents entrusted to their care.

CHILD PROTECTION ORIENTATION AND FINGERPRINTING
The next Child Protection Orientations at St. Max are Wednesday, July 9th and
Wednesday, August 13th from
7-8pm in the Parish Office Conference Room. ALL ADULT VOLUNTEERS AGE 18 AND A
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE AND OLDER MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION AND BE FINGERPRINTED
BEFORE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
Fingerprinting can now be done at St. Max. Hours are Monday through
Friday, 9:00 am to noon, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Fingerprinting can also be done at the Archdiocese of
Cincinnati,100 East Eighth Street -- 8th Floor, Cincinnati, OH 45202, (513)
421-3131, Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Other sites can be found on the
Archdiocese of Cincinnati website. St. John (West Chester) is no longer taking
fingerprints.
You must designate St. Max as the location to where fingerprint information
can be sent. Fingerprinting done at other locations for other churches,
businesses, or organizations cannot be transferred.
