In a major national study it was discovered that, despite all the wonderful programs, initiatives and guidance that parishes and schools provide, Catholic teenagers consistently scored lower on most measures of religiosity — 5 to 25 percentage points lower than their conservative, mainline, and black Protestant peers.

SCRIPTURE STUDY WILL BEGIN AGAIN SEPTEMBER 16TH - GOSPEL OF MARK

All are invited to attend Thursday Scripture Study in Rooms 8 & 10 of the Fr. John Porter Family Life Complex at 9:30-11:00am. No previous studies or experience is required. Bring a Bible of your choice (a notebook and pen is optional). Weekly attendance is encouraged but not required. A facilitator will lead participants in reflecting on the upcoming Sunday scriptures. Studies and experience has indicated that reflecting on scripture prior to celebrating mass enhances a person’s participation in mass. Mark your calendar now and plan to attend.
