Father Rob Muhlenkamp

Deacon John Paul Back and his wife Jill are some of the St Max Originals! Deacon John shares the power of prayer by people he knows as well as complete strangers in confirming his calling to become a Deacon.  He also speaks about his faith journey and his support throughout the years.

Divine Mercy
You have probably heard something about Divine Mercy.   Jesus dictated prayers to  St. Faustina to remind us of his great mercy.  Her writings were finally accepted as being from Jesus and  St. John Paul II (to be canonized on Divine Mercy Sunday 2014) canonized St. Faustina in 2000.  Joan Stoltz and Rosie Kaeppner share the story of what Jesus dictated to St Faustina, how she was able to bring these writings to the world, and how the St. Max community became aware of the writings to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet after every Mass.  We also learn about the remarkable blessings given to everyone who prays a novena before Divine Mercy Sunday- the Sunday after Easter.

Young at Heart
Young at Heart is one of the most active ministries at St. Max.  This group serves those 50 and over who are looking for a great time participating in one or several events each month including: eating (lots of eating!), attending plays, sporting events, musical events- just to  name a few.  Listen as some members describe their adventures and recommendation that this group is AWESOME!

Early Music Ministry
Music has always been an important part of our Liturgy.  Bonnie Woll who was our first Music Director leading the choir and Mike Lippman who co-led the Guitar Ensemble got together to reminisce about the beginnings of Music for St. Max.  There are several great stories of life at Freedom and in the Center.
