Many articles are submitted to the Communications Coordinator on a weekly basis for inclusion in the bulletin. Because bulletin space is limited, this page was created to publish the overflow articles that are submitted for out of parish events. Please note that the St. Max parish office cannot answer questions about these articles or their content; please contact the listed person or organization provided.

 | Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center Needs Your Help! You may or may not know about OSMPC: - It is the busiest pregnancy center in the tri-state area, located in Over-the-Rhine
- all workers at OSMPC are volunteers -- no one gets paid for any of the work they do
- they rely entirely on donations to continue their good work of saving babies from abortion
- they assist families with children up to size 5T
- all clients attend bible study to be fed spiritually before receiving a distribution of items
- they are opened Monday - Thursday from 1 - 5 p.m., staffing both the pregnancy center and the distribution center
- they are always in need of diapers, formula, infant and children's clothing up to size 5T, and baby strollers and other equipment. If it is still functional, it does not have to be new -- all donations are appreciated!
ALSO... They just received word that they will be losing our Distribution Center [across the street from the Pregnancy Center at East 13th and Main in downtown Cincinnati]. They have to be out by August 1st. The man who was kind enough to let us use it for the last few years, has a partnership with others and they want to renovate the building. The bottom line is----God willing---They need to find another building in close proximity of the Pregnancy Center for low or no rent. If you can help, please contact:Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center (OSMPC) 123 E. 13th Street

| BIRTHRIGHT IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS FOR 2013Since 1971, BIRTHRIGHT OF GREATER CINCINNATI has been serving the needs of young women, regardless of age, race, creed, marital or economic status, who feel distressed by unplanned pregnancies or who are in need of material assistance for their babies. Duties include answering phones, preparing newborn baby layettes for graduates of our free childbirth classes, sorting maternity and baby clothes, putting together packets of diapers and formula, assisting with general office duties and, for those so inclined, conducting pregnancy tests. Training is provided. We can also give references to caring and reputable adoption agencies for those who need this service. Volunteers are needed Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10am and 4pm. We offer completely confidential help, friendship and emotional support to the families we serve.
